The most popular fabrics on sale include Kuba cloth from the Democratic Republic of Congo. This fabric is made from grass and is perfect for wall hangings, leather bags and frames. Kente, a Malian mudcloth, is also a firm favourite. While much of the fabric is imported, Our Heritage has also taught locals how to produce some of the fabrics, which is a welcome boost for local industry.
