 The V&A Regatta

The prestigious V&A Regatta is one of the oldest rowing regattas in the country (records show that it has been rowed since 1860’s)...

The regatta is one of the few that allows spectators to watch the full course of the regatta, due to the unique position of the V&A harbour walls.

The V& A Regatta is an historic event – records show that Cambridge, UCT and Bishops rowed here in a regatta in 1939. A proud sport, rowing is spectacular  to watch and with its many vantage points, there are few better places to watch this last regatta of the season than from the V&A. Come and watch the best of Western Cape Rowing at the end of a successful season.
