1. What is the minimum amount which can be loaded onto the gift card?
     R50.00

2. What is the maximum amount which can be loaded onto the gift card?
     R5,000.00.

3. Is the gift card reloadable?
    Yes.

4. How do I reload the gift card?
     Visit the V&A Waterfront Information Centre (09:00 – 18:00) or In-mall Kiosk (09:00 – 21:00). Provide
     your FICA details (including ID book or Passport) to the Customer Relations Officer at the
     Information Desk. Advise the amount you would like to load onto the gift card and make payment in
     any of the following ways: Cash, Debit Card, Credit Card or Amex. Receive and sign for your copy of
     the Terms & Conditions. Receive your gift card and holder with the requested amount paid for,
     loaded onto the gift card.

5. What information is required from me when I purchase a gift card?
     With every gift card sale, the following FICA details needs to be captured:
     •  Name & Surname
     •  Telephone Number
     •  ID Number (or Passport Number – International customers)
     •  Positive Identification (ID book or Passport)

5a.  Why do I need to provide my name and ID number when buying a gift card?
     •  The V&A Waterfront Gift Cards are Visa cards, meaning that they are issued by a bank and are   
        considered a financial transaction. All such financial transactions are governed by the  Financial
        Intelligence Centre Act of 2001 (FICA), which was enacted to combat money laundering, and
        which requires information such as this in order to combat crime . The V&A Waterfront needs to 
        comply with FICA requirements and as therefore needs this information from you.

5b.  What information do I need to provide, given the FICA requirements?
     •  If you are an individual, we will need to have your full name and a valid South African ID number or
        passport number. Companies will need to provide the company name and company registration 
        number.

5c.  Will my personal details be disclosed?
     •  No, we will not share your personal details with any third party, unless we are required to do so by
        law.  If you have provided us with your contact details and you have consented to receiving 
        Marketing information from us, we may from time to time send you the latest information on news
        and events at the V&A Waterfront. You may at any time unsubscribe from this.

5d.  What happens if I don’t provide these details?
     •  We are sorry, but we will not be able to sell you a Gift Card.

6. Where can I spend my V&A Waterfront gift card?
    Gift cards are accepted at all V&A Waterfront retailers, restaurants, hotels and leisure attractions that
     accept Visa debit and credit cards.

7. How does the card work?
    It is a pre-loaded card and tenants simply swipe the card like any other Visa debit/credit card.

8. Will the V&A Waterfront still accept paper gift vouchers and for how long?
    Yes.  All valid paper vouchers will be accepted by tenants until the date of expiry.

9. Where can I buy a gift card?
    At the V&A Waterfront Information Centre and V&A Waterfront In-mall Kiosk (021) 408 7600 or
    info@waterfront.co.za
. Corporate customers need to contact the V&A Waterfront Head Office on
    (021) 408-7500 between 09h00 and 17h00, Mondays to Fridays, except public holidays.

10. Who do I contact if I have any questions about the gift card?
      Customer Service at the V&A Waterfront Information Centre and V&A Waterfront In-mall Kiosk on 
      (021) 408 7600 or email info@waterfront.co.za with the subject heading “Gift card queries”.

11. Will I be able to exchange paper gift vouchers for a plastic gift card?
       Unfortunately not. Valid paper gift vouchers will continue to be honoured by tenants until the date of
       expiry.

12. How can I check my balance on my gift card?
       In any of the following ways:
       •  SMS card number to 41922 (charged at R2.00 per SMS)
       •  V&A Waterfront Website http://www.waterfront.co.za/Pages/GiftCardBalance.aspx 

       •  Visit the V&A Waterfront Information Centre (alongside Mitchell’s) or the V&A Waterfront in-mall 
           Kiosk (in the Victoria Wharf Shopping Centre)
       •  I-Point (in-mall navigation system)
       •  DrawCard Call Centre 086 111 1234
